Julie Birungi Claps Back at Susan Makula's Homophobic Comments.

Julie Birungi, a renowned gospel singer based in Canada, has hit back at Susan Makula after being called a "fool" by the Salt FM and Salt TV presenter due to her sexual orientation.

In a strongly-worded Facebook post, Birungi clarified that she was never friends with Makula but acknowledged that Makula had helped her in the past to promote her songs on Salt.

Birungi also highlighted the hypocrisy in Makula for branding her a sinner for being a lesbian while cohabiting with a married man herself.

Makula's comments were made in a recent interview where she expressed disappointment in Birungi's sexuality and criticized her for promoting homosexuality.

Birungi retaliated, stating that Makula's campaign against her was motivated by personal beliefs and questioned Makula's authority to judge others.
