Meek Mill‘s trip to Ghana has been eventful, to say the least, and now footage has emerged of an altercation he got into with an overzealous fan after his festival performance.

The Dream Chasers boss took to his Instagram on Friday (December 30) to share footage of him exiting the Afro Nation festival following his headlining performance on day one. It shows Meek making his way through an energetic crowd of people right as something happens that causes Meek to walk away with an annoyed look on his face.

The Philly native couldn’t stay upset for too long as he received even a lot of love from the local Ghanaians who came to see him perform. Meek showed the love from fans in the next bit of footage on his IG.

“They roughed me tf upppppp but the love overpowered it … almost went from dreams to nightmares quick lol,” Meek captioned his post.

Fighting through crowds of people wasn’t the only thing that Meek Mill has had to deal with during his trip to Ghana. On Thursday (December 29), Meek revealed someone pickpocketed his phone while he was out and about in the country.

“They pick pocketed me for my phoneeeeeee SMH….Bring that Jawn back if you got it,” Meek wrote in his Instagram Story.

Meek Mill actually found out that he’s 18 percent Ghanaian, according to the results of a test he got done on Ancestry.com. The Philadelphia native posted his DNA results on his Instagram Story, circling the 18 percent labeled “Ivory Coast & Ghana” and writing: “My second home!!!”

Despite the roller coaster trip he’s been having, Meek Mill kicked things off with a bang by riding around on a four-wheeler and partying all night at a local club.
